Just wanted to let everyone know i am still here. My Mom, Dad, and sister Holly are here visiting. We are loving having them here. It is fun showing them our little OK world. They have already been so helpful. My mom has been an excellent interior designer - rearranging furniture and beautifying our house. My dad spent the day yesterday building us a bench / food storage in our hall closet. He also wrote a fabulous story to go with all our finger puppets. Holly is the designated game player and entertainer. The kids are absolutely in heaven having extra people to play with and order around.
Our due date is just 5 days away but, as anyone who has been pregnant knows, it already feels like it is way past. My family is leaving the day before D-day. There is alot of hoping and pressure to get this baby here before they leave. There seems to be a mind set in this town that one should be induced for convenience. I don't want to do that but it sure is hard to stick to that decision. I am hoping that it will just happen soon and everyone will get to see our new little boy.
In the mean time we are having fun with family and hoping, hoping. We will keep you all posted.

I love when family comes to visit, you never want them to leave, even better when they are helping you build/fix things. Have you ever been overdue????
Good luck making it through those days!! It's so hard to wait it out, especially with that sort of pressure, but do whatever you feel is right! We're excited to 'meet' him via your blog!!
So does that mean you are due this sunday??? Well I sure hope that we get to see him soon too. Any names yet????
Good luck--the last days of pregnancy are are the only thing worse than delivery! (by the way, I did a convenience induction and loved it--the easiest of my babies by far)
I just saw your question about bubble cups--they're really easy. Use a small styrofoam cup--push a straw through the side (usually near the base)--cover the top with the cheapest terry cloth, using a rubber band, and dip in a mixture of dish soap and water. Kids love them, they're cheap, and totally re-usable. Have fun!
You should have used Dr. Miller... He loves to induce! He sets you up around his football schedule. :-)
